Hope-U Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed for the sole purpose of helping youth achieve independence and sustainable employment through a reliable support system. Hope-U works tirelessly everyday helping the community’s disconnected youth between the ages of 16-24 who are neither working or in school.
The goals are two-fold: Goal 1 is to empower young people to attain autonomy by teaching them independently living skills to better prepare them for young adulthood. The focus for these 14-21 year olds is skill development and smart goal setting. Goal 2 is to help emancipated foster youth connect and disconnected youth re-connect, offering temporary financial assistance, mentoring, education and reinforcement of traditional life skills. The focus for these 18-26 year olds is removing barriers to education and employment goals.
Our staff members are a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of skills and expertise. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of former foster care youth for their betterment and that of their community. Won't you help?
